History of Source Wave SEO
Source Wave has been around for a while. Today, Alex Becker is no longer associated with the brand, but his spirit and influence remains.
Source Wave’s Alex Becker, The Founder
Alex Becker is one of my (Lord’s) old gurus online. I had begun to learn of SEO back around 2010 or so, but it wasn’t until Source Wave was founded by Alex in around 2012 that I started to experiment on my own.
Source Wave – A Simple Formula
At the heart of it, Alex promoted a form of content planning involving something he called siloed content. Content grouped together with a parent article, and children supporting the parent.
A Decade Later – It Still Works
We’ve spent the past 10 years perfecting methods and systems to really max the lifecycle of these content clusters. Today, even though the recipe is simple, the method is more powerful than ever.
Source Wave – Current Year
The story is a simple one. We woke up one day, shocked to find source-wave.com had gone up for auction. I (Lord) have a place in my heart for both Becker and Source Wave so I instantly bought it with The Internet Monies Alex Becker Taught Me to Make. We let it sit in a holding pattern with some demo content on the domain for a while, while we finished up with other projects. In the background I was planning a launch of Source Wave, and what my vision for its launch would be.
Today, Source Wave is finally up and is slowly rolling out a series of services and package offerings surrounding my favorite way of making money online still: Traffic farming with content clusters.
Useful for SaaS B2B, Affiliate Marketers, and even Local Businesses, we can help plan a strategy, execute its production, and then even help promote it once it is up. The real magic sauce though, is when the content gets beefed and adjusted in following months, based upon feedback from Google Search Console, SEMRush, AHREFs, etc.
